Bhargavastra is an indigenous counter-swarm drone system developed by Solar Defence and Aerospace Ltd.

It is designed to counter:

  • Drone swarms

  • Weaponised UAVs

  • Loitering munitions.

It uses a layered hard-kill approach involving micro-rockets and micro-missiles, along with radar and electro-optical systems.

In July 2026, the system was demonstrated to the Indian Army in Nagpur under the Make-II programme.
