Mission Vatsalya Scheme - Child Protection

 

Mission Vatsalya is a flagship child-protection scheme of the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

It focuses on:

  • Child protection.

  • Family-based non-institutional care.

  • Rehabilitation.

  • Prevention of child abandonment.

  • Strengthening child-care institutions.

The scheme works within the framework of the Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015.
