• YUVIKA stands for YUva VIgyani KAryakram.

  • It is an outreach programme of ISRO designed to introduce school students to:

    • Space science

    • Space technology

    • Space applications

  • It is primarily aimed at students who have completed Class IX.

  • YUVIKA is generally conducted as a residential programme.

  • In 2026, the sixth edition selected 456 students from 28 states and 8 Union Territories.

  • The 2026 programme was expanded to nine ISRO centres.
