The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved the Fair and Remunerative Price (FRP) for sugarcane for the 2026–27 season.

Key Facts

• New FRP: ₹365 per quintal
• Previous FRP: ₹355 per quintal
• Increase: 2.81%
• Applicable from: 1 October 2026
• Basic Recovery Rate: 10.25%
