What: NCDEX launched “RAINMUMBAI”, weather derivative contract on Mumbai rainfall; live from 1 June 2026. Developed with IIT Bombay; uses IMD data and AWS at Santa Cruz and Colaba; model: Cumulative Deviation Rainfall (CDR) over monsoon (June–Sept) based on 1991–2020 dataset.
