Government e-Marketplace (GeM) celebrated the 7th anniversary of the SWAYATT (Startups, Women and Youth Advantage through e-Transactions) initiative.

Key Points

• Launched: 19 February 2019.
• Objective:
  • Promote startups.
  • Empower women entrepreneurs.
  • Increase youth participation in public procurement.
• Women's participation:
  • Order value increased from ₹1,265.62 crore (FY19) to ₹83,323 crore (FY26).
  • Orders increased from 1.01 lakh to 44.48 lakh.
