India submitted its 7th National Report to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD).

• Prepared by:
  • Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC).
• Inputs from 33 Ministries/Departments.
• Evaluates 23 national biodiversity targets.
• Aligned with the Kunming–Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (KMGBF).

KMGBF Targets (2030)

• Protect 30% of land and marine areas.
• Restore degraded ecosystems.
• Halt biodiversity loss and species extinction.
