Signed on 21 Feb 2026 to strengthen Disaster Management Research & Response (DMRR).
Focus on research, capacity building, policy support, and knowledge sharing for disaster risk reduction and resilience.
Science–Policy Integration
Integrates science, technology, and policy to improve preparedness, academic/interdisciplinary research, public awareness, and communication on disaster risks.
Role of Institutions
AcSIR to launch PhD programme at CSIR‑NIScPR with NDMA support.
Joint research, policy studies, and capacity‑building programmes by AcSIR, NDMA, CSIR‑NIScPR.
