Embraer and Mahindra plan a state‑of‑the‑art MRO facility for C‑390 Millennium aircraft in India, subject to IAF selection under MTA programme.
Builds on Strategic Cooperation Agreement (Oct 2025) to produce C‑390 in India and support ‘Make in India’.
Scope of MRO
End‑to‑end support: base/heavy maintenance, structural inspection/testing, component repair/overhaul, avionics support, and training services.
Aircraft Profile
C‑390 Millennium: multi‑mission military transport, payload up to 26 tons, higher speed and range than other medium transport aircraft.
