    • Vice President C.P. Radhakrishnan launched Constitution of India in Gujarati and Tamil on International Mother Language Day (21 Feb), at Uprashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi.

    • Also launched 8th Edition of Legal Glossary (English to Hindi) to simplify legal terms.

50. Regional Language Access

    • Official translations now also available in Boro, Dogri, Santali, and other languages; Constitution released in Nepali last year.

    • Aim: enable citizens to understand rights, duties, democratic responsibilities in their mother tongue.
