PM RAHAT Scheme
Purpose: Provide cashless, immediate medical treatment up to Rs 1.5 lakh for 7 days to road accident victims.
Integration: Linked with ERSS 112 helpline for rapid hospital access within the Golden Hour.
Implementation:
Ministry of Road Transport & Highways (MoRTH): Policy oversight via eDAR platform.
National Health Authority (NHA): Claims processing through TMS 2.0.
Funding: Approved Rs 11,000 crore for the scheme.
