Under the National Sports Governance Act, 2025.
Key Features:
4 sportspersons of Outstanding Merit (SOMs) in NSBs’ General Body; 50% women, 4 women in Executive Committee.
SOMs must be ≥25 years, retired ≥1 year, not recent medalists.
10-tier system based on sporting achievements (from Olympic/Paralympic medalists to national level).
