- Under Blue Port Initiative; A&N EEZ = 6 lakh sq km; capacity: 430 vessels, 9,900 tonnes/year landing.
- SmartBlue = IoT + digital traceability to combat IUU fishing.
- India fisheries production: 96 lakh tonnes (2013-14) → 197.75 lakh tonnes (2024-25); seafood exports ₹62,408 cr to ~130 countries; target ₹1 lakh cr by 2030-31.
