• Prepared by the Department of School Education & Literacy (DoSEL), Ministry of Education.
• Measures the performance of States/UTs in school education.
• PGI 2.0-S evaluates States/UTs through 70 indicators.
• Total weightage: 1,000 points.
• Two broad categories:
  1. Outcome
  2. Governance & Management

• No State/UT achieved the highest performance grade in 2025–26.
