• Who: Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports [MYAS] granted conditional recognition to Judo Federation of India [JFI].
• Significance: Restores stability, enables JFI to conduct activities, organise championships, select athletes, ensure participation in domestic/international events.
• Condition: Must comply with MYAS directives and National Sports Development Code of India, 2011 [Sports Code].
• Governance Reform: JFI under court-appointed administrator since 2022. After Delhi HC ruling Feb 2026, conducted AGM and aligned with National Sports Governance Act, 2025. Interim Executive Committee elected - Mukesh Kumar, Banee Brata Das [Secretary General], Shailesh Shrikant Tilak.[President][Treasurer]
