- More than 12,000 e-Zero FIRs were registered against cyber financial fraud in 18 States/UTs in 2025.
- Delhi: 6,115 FIRs — highest.
- Chandigarh: 4,174 FIRs.
- The e-Zero FIR system was launched in May 2025.
- Victims can report through:
- National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (NCRP)
- 1930 helpline
- The complainant must visit the police station within 3 days to convert the e-Zero FIR into a regular FIR.
