RBI Delays Basel III Disclosure Rules

The RBI postponed implementation of its revised Basel Pillar III disclosure framework by six months.

New deadline

1 April 2027

The rules apply to:

• Commercial banks
• Small Finance Banks
• Payments Banks

The first quarterly disclosures under the new timeline will cover the period ending 30 June 2027.
