Scheme: Ship-breaking Credit Note Scheme offering credits worth 40% of scrap value.
Hub: Alang-Sosiya Ship Recycling Yard, expanded to 9 million LDT capacity, largest globally.

Purpose: Establish a dedicated research centre at NCAER HQ, Delhi.
Aim: Evidence-based policymaking in transportation, mobility, and logistics.
Functions:
Applied economic research.
Policy formulation in NH economics, freight logistics, modal integration, toll policy, road safety, asset monetization.


Leadership: Advisory Committee including top economists and transportation experts.
