- INS Agray is an Anti-Submarine Warfare Shallow Water Craft (ASW-SWC).
- It is the fourth of eight ASW-SWC vessels being constructed for the Indian Navy.
- Designed and built indigenously by GRSE, Kolkata.
- Approximately 77 metres long.
- Designed for detecting and engaging underwater threats in shallow waters.
- Equipped with shallow-water sonar, lightweight torpedoes and indigenous rocket launchers.
- It is also relevant to mine warfare and coastal surveillance.
- It carries forward the name of an earlier INS Agray, which was decommissioned in 2017.
- The vessel has over 80% indigenous content.
