Sanshodhak Survey Vessel

- INS Sanshodhak is the fourth and final Survey Vessel (Large) built for the Indian Navy under a four-ship project.
- Built by Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers (GRSE), Kolkata.
- Delivered to the Indian Navy on 30 March 2026 and commissioned on 21 June 2026.
- Designed for coastal and deep-water hydrographic surveys, including harbour approaches and navigational channels.
- Also undertakes oceanographic and geophysical data collection.
- Equipped with advanced systems such as Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs), Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs), sonar and hydrographic data-acquisition systems.
- The four Survey Vessel (Large) ships are Sandhayak, Nirdeshak, Ikshak and Sanshodhak.
- Supports maritime navigation, defence operations and India's Blue Economy.
