- Founded the Indian Home Rule Society in London.
- He was associated with the establishment of India House in London, which became an important centre for Indian nationalists.
- Founded and edited the journal The Indian Sociologist.
- He was a strong advocate of Indian self-rule.
- He died in Geneva in 1930.
- His ashes were brought back to India in 2003 and are commemorated at Kranti Teerth, Mandvi.
