• Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated 7 infrastructure projects worth ₹427.80 crore at Paradip Port Authority (PPA), Odisha.
• Three additional mechanisation projects involving ₹1,580.36 crore also received concession agreements.
• Major inaugurated projects:
  • Capital Dredging Project: ₹352 crore
  • Atharbanki Second New Bridge: ₹24.89 crore
  • PNG Supply Project: ₹20 crore
  • Advanced Vessel Traffic Management System (VTMS): ₹15.50 crore
• Other projects include a sports hostel and administrative office upgradation.
• The port also marked the plantation of its one-millionth tree.
• Mechanisation projects:
  • South Quay: 5 MTPA
  • Multipurpose Berth: 8 MTPA
  • Captive CQ-III: 10 MTPA
